Stanhopea candida

Another surprised for me today luckily not to late maybe just opened yesterday. I noticed the flowers making some beautiful structure like triangle on certain view. I hope you will enjoy it. Recently BD bought this plant hopefully growing very well for you Bruce.

That is wonderful!! Our Stanhopea candida is growing well, but no blooms or even a spike just yet. I hope it turns out even half as lovely as this one. I wonder if ours is getting too much sun. The leaves on yours look so dark and rich and the ones on my plant are light green. I also get black spots (not mushy or anything) but still bothersome. In another thread someone suggested that I should move my stanhopoea orchids into an area where they get move air movement. Any thoughts?

The leaves relatively darker because of fertilizer I put on it this is the 3 rd times blooming for this year, here I put my plant under the tree received the light about 30 to 40 % I agree with those suggested to put more airy like mine depends on the natural air movement in this area, in between the media is easily become dry so I always spraying the water once especially in the evening.The black spots like mine I usually will cut it could be due to Phytophora. Wish yours will bloom soon. Zain.
