HELP! Miltoniopsis not blooming!

Help!
I had this Miltoniopsis for 3 years now, and after it bloomed, it never flowered. Once, only once it sent up 2 spikes almost ready to bloom. But I went on vacation and the person DID NOT WATER IT SO THE SPIKES DRIED UP! and now to this day it had never bloomed again... help please!

Can you post a picture of the plant. Miltoniopsis need a lot of light;

They also like to be moist, and like a bit of cool humidity-try placing the pot in a tray with about 1 1/2in of gravel in the bottom, and filled about 1in of water. As the water slowly evaporates, the humidity from it rises up around the plant-almost all members of the Odontoglossum alliance like this

Hi Alex, I have quite a few orchids of different types and most do pretty well, unfortunitly not all. That said my Miltonoipsis has flowered every year and most times twice a year. I have under watered it on occation and caused acordioned leaves, I have also over fertilized it and had the leaf tips turn black, one year it had a servere case of fungus and I almost trashed it. My plant after (4) years has gotten large enough to bursting in a (8") pot. I use Aussie Gold as a potting medium, in the (8") pot I water about every fifth day during the cooler months, I fertilize very lightly every other watering and during the cool weather grow under lights, on a covered porch in the summer, at which time I have also made the mistake by putting in to bright of an area. I hope I have helped you with my limited knowledge, I think the biggest thing was the moisture holding Aussie Gold. HANK......
