    Default C. intermedia var dwarf 'Crystal' x Rhyncolaelia digbyana

    My latest little lady to come into bloom. The green is a little deeper than the photo shows, the color deepens as the blooms age. Fragrant too!

    Nice one Diane. The digbayana's lips have really come out in that hasn't it...

    Btw, this cross was registered in 1906 as Brassocattleya Cordelia.

    Rhyncolaelia digbayana use to be called Brassavola digbayana, and I think for the purpose of hybridization still will use the "Brasso-" epithet. So when you cross a rhyncolaelia digbayana with any of the cattleyas, then you get a brassocattleya.

    Tim, I hate how that confuses the issue--sometimes my pea brain can't get around what the HELL exactly they're refering to when they start in with the Brasso....
