hi,
i got this bulbophyllum phalenopsis seedlings about two years ago. the longest leaf span is 4 inches. there is 8 bulbs of total in the pot.
with the eight bulb there, now it is growing out 5 new growths. should i trim away the new growth leaving 1-2 growths behind? the reason is i want the bulb to grow bigger in size rather than quantity? or should i divide the plant into 2 -3 diviisions? or should i leave it alone?
almost forgot, one of the new lead bulb that just form attained only 2.5inches in length, i am suspecting nutrients competition among new forming bulbs.
thanks
