Lovely dark color! Congrats.
Wow, that's a really dark one. Very nice.
Just great, I love this dark red color.
Good growing! That's a nice dark vinicolor and excellent broad dorsal, but it's not Paph Supersuk 'Eureka', which is not a vinicolor. Like most Supersuk, 'Eureka' strongly resembles the Paph sukhakulii parent with a smallish dorsal and fairly broad greenish petals with abundant dark spots. This almost certainly is not not a Supersuk at all, there is no way to get a large dorsal vinicolor from the 3 species that make up Supersuk. It might be a Supersuk hybrid, but even that is somewhat unlikely. Enjoy it for the great color, but that tag can't be correct. Sorry.
Your 'first' is always exciting. I also love the rich, deep color, and that very broad dorsal as Kirk posted. You should be able to enjoy this bloom for quite sometime. AL

I'm just happy it bloomed! When searching for pics, I could only find supersuk eureka with the raisin pie X, so I assumed that accounted for the appearance variation. Sooo, given that it is apparently mislabeled, anyone have an idea what it might actually be?
Don't know the name but she's a dark beauty. I agree - isn't the anticipation of watching the bloom develop (almost) the best part? Good growing!
Wonderful, dark slipper orchid! Congratulations!!
cheers,

Great colour though I doubt it's Supersuk.
