I love all green flowers. This one is exceptional with both the color combo and shape.
ok, so after talking to Amey, not granulosa. I bought two of these with Connie in St. Pete. Both came with tags as granulosa. The one above and one that the tag read... C. granulosa Gublecs (and maybe that is Goblets) green X self?
This one will go into the NOID pile.
Cathy I have a Cattleya Mrs. Mahlers x Rl. digbyana, the lip and flower structure is a bit similar. So it is definitely a first or second generation Rl. digbyana cross with some other waxy cattleya. I have some time back seen a C. inermedia x Rl. digbyana that looked similar except for the color. I think it could be granulosa x digbyana.
So very beautiful: it's p pity I have no condition to grow cattleya species.
It's a pity you weren't closer, cause I would send it you.
Great color!!!
