It produced two spikes, but a nefarious individual broke one of them. However, it has 7 blooms on the remaining spike, and the flowers are MUCH bigger!!

Very beautiful blooms...nice growing to![]()
Wow! I don't have this one yet. I've seen a few tiny ones, but never one full grown like yours. Great growing...and gorgeous flowers! I may have to get one now...I just love the color of this one's flowers.
Very beautiful species with a short spike (it seems).
My Myrmecophila will bloom for the 1st time soon (I don't know the species) and the spike is 6 feet high !
It is just beautiful! I really like the colors. Thanks for sharing them. I've had a myrmecophila for many years and never been able to make it bloom. Any advise? I've tried changing it from less light to more light, blooming fertilizer, etc. and nothing seems to help. It is mounted and looks very healthy. What else can I do to help it? Thanks!
That is so pretty. I like the short spike. Most of these have huge/tall spikes. I only have one shromb or (Myrmecophila orchid) now and it is a seedling. It will be a long time before it is big enough to bloom.
I like the dark lip on this orchid bloom. Nice.
cheers,
