Pomatocalpa is not a very well-decribed genus, probably because its blooms are tiny.
"poma"= cover, "kalpe"= pitcher
I am not very sure of the ID of this plant, but I think the flowers have labellum typical for my other Pomatocalpas. Closest relatives would be Robiquetia and Cleisostoma. My other Pomatocalpas have bright yellow to orange to light brown blooms, except for P bicolor, which has apple green base. I like the purple tint of this plant.
