    Default My little orchid retreat

I thought I'd share a couple of pics of my deck since we reworked it over the weekend...it's nothing spectacular, but I have only thirty orchids and the majority are small.

I was allowed to take the metro shelving that formerly housed all of the tools to use for the outdoor plants. I have two misting lines...one attached to the lower tier of the shelves where the bulbos and more moisture critical plants live. The other is overhead with my two little mounted dends and a few baskets live. Its all on a timer set to run four times for two minutes each every hour during the hottest part of the day.

Only 30 plants?!? Shameful! What kind of weak excuse for an orchid addict are you? Get with the program, Jason! We have standards of obsessive collecting to uphold.

Nice set up ! Really comfy looking. But I agree I can easily see about 60+ orchids living happily here hehe !
