    As promised, here are pics. of two more spikes now opened. there is still one more to go but its taking forever!

    Can't get a closeup because I did not take one when the plant was in bloom. I will have to hope for the next blooming. I bought the plant from a grower in Jamaica.

    i'm assuming this is a mule ear type? i saw a newbie had just posted something questioning the ID of a mule ear type that he/she described to be almost exactly like this!! not sure if anyone ever got back to that post but if not i will try to find that person's post and point them to this one... i think this is the perfect match for that member!!!
