Default Dendrobium chrysotoxum (lindl 1847) Kew

From India to Laos, intermedite to warm, needs high humidity +/- 80%.
Requires high light in the winter to encourage flowering in spring.
A short restingperiod, in this time only enough water to ensure that pseudobulbous stems do not shrivle.
    Light pleasant honey scent.
Easy grower, this item is 3 yo.

I have two in my collections, unfortunately, after a year elapsed, they have not produced any spikes yet.

    Dear Amey,
perhaps to much room to grow,I use small pots 7cm(2.8inch)diameter,chrysotoxum dislikes much transplanting.

    Kind regards,
    Yves

    Yves, Amey,

I think there are variations of Dend chrysotoxum. I have both variations. One small and compact like the above one and the typical long caned chrysotoxum. The short one has not yet bloomed. just waiting for it to bloom. Not sure if it is going to bloom this year now since it should have typically bloomed in spring/early summer in India.
