    Default Vanilla tahitensis

    My first Vanilla tahitensis flower

    Name: Dscf7181 flower small.jpg Views: 5012 Size: 49.9 KB

    It caught me by surprise as i'd checked it yesterday and thought it should be open at the end of the week. Then checked at lunchtime and YIPPEE it was open. I've tried to pollinate it so now have to wait and see if i'm successful.

    Congratulations, Sally! I love Tahitian vanilla, and wish you the best. I keep saying I'm going to grow one of these, because I have heard that they are a little more "user friendly" than other vanilla plants. How long have you been growing yours?
