    Default Red Cattleya

This is the first bloom for me on this one. Unfortunately the tag has disappeared. If I ever hear the name I will know it. The flowers are large. The color is a deep brick red and the center is a deep burgandy with a slight purple tint to it. The scent is heavenly a cross between vanilla and spices.

Beautiful! I'd like to see the throat. Is it a yellow throat or yellow veins in the throat? The scent sounds wonderful. It's unfortunate that you lost the name tag.

Yes, a more square on to the flower shot would be great, less exposure too. Possibly a Taiwan clone. Something like a Rlc. Chai Lin or Rlc. Sanyung Ruby.
