Dug up my Amorphophallus Konjac corms for winter storage. Very common for them to have multiple legs by the end of the growing season. A young corm is at the end of each leg. Once the corm is large enough (usually about the diameter of a quarter) the segment between the mother corm and the baby withers away.

Hi Pavel, I've got a konjac too, but it's just yellowing the leaf. How do you store the corms in the winter? I'm thinking about leaving it in the pot and taking it inside at 10-12°C.

Ah, yours gets the benefit of a longer growing season than exists in my area.

Nothing special or terribly arduous. Once the foliage dies off/turns mushy I dig up the corms, brush the dirt off them, let them dry for a day or so, (maybe brush any remaining dry dirt off), toss them in a open box, put the box on a shelf in a closet or the laundry room so they are out of my way, and ignore them completely until sometime in the spring. Once the weather is warm enough (usually late May or early June) and I remember, they get potted up.

I've never tried keeping them in the pots they are in simply because of a lack of room in my apt. The pots remain on my balcony all year.
