Today I bought a Dendrobium. I have no experience with dendrobiums and would like some advice. The plant is in a very flimsy plastic "pot" filled with soggy moss. I feel like repotting it right away after the flowers drop. Is that when it's dormancy is supposed to begin?

Any suggestions would be welcome. What should I do with it? What potting mix should I use? What type of Dendrobium is it?
