2011 with 3 flowers, 2012 with 4 flowers and 2013 with 5 flowers can be considered a regular bloomer.
Let's see next year. Maybe 6 or 7 flowers.
All offspring of this cross produce clusters of more than 5 flowers. Although this specific plant got mainly C. intermedia genes and C. intermedia usually produce only 3 flowers each spike. Only under exceptional circumstances we can see 4 or 5 flowers on a C. intermedia spike.
The dramatic contrast in between the white base color and the bright purple lip and splashes makes this plant an eye catcher.
One more to keep and therefor it goes in to my collection.
