    Cool Phalaenopsis Ruth Duncan

    Finally! I made my first trip to the nursery so I could let the hubby buy me a valentines gift yesterday. I walked with my walker the entire way. I included a pic of me next to the phals she keeps to the side, where I found my pink phal. You can tell I haven't been out in awhile. I look abit pale these days. lol And this is the monster I brought home. I will repost when it gets completely bloomed out.

    That's an elegant looking phalaenopsis, with those tall branching spikes. Very nice!

    Thanks. I am working hard at getting walking again. I have been bored...I needed a trip to the nursery. At least it made for some fun exercise anyways! lol

    I knew Ruth Duncan, a sweet lady who certainly loved her orchids, especially tough vigorous easy plants with delicate flowers... like this one. Thanks for the lovely reminder of an old friend.
