The real McCoy. Doesn't get much better than this - unless I cut off the 2nd bud ( visible behind the flower ) in which case the flower might be 2 cm larger. Super foliage ; in the British Paph Society meetings, there is always one competitive class for best foliage ; Claire de Lune never actually wins, lovely though it is , although the ones which do win do not have quite such classically perfect flowers.
Not an easy plant to find and buy ; not a cheap plant when you have found it. Growing well in conventional mix - this has a couple of growths which might both be FS next year, as well as three other smaller growths , so I am rather reluctant to disturb it and put in S/H... but.....maybe it would grow better if I did ?
