This is what I have been up to, it is an addition to the end of the existing greenhouse , it has a sloped to the south roof , it looks better now, some of the rubble is gone and the windows and door are in . It will be my Vandas room lol . Gin

So - did you and hubby do all that by yourselves??
Looks wonderful, Gin!!
Absolutely fantastic looking extension... exactly the kinda stuff I want to add to the house... like a conservatory! So, how do I get copies of the plans Gin?
cheers

Looking good!
Gin that looks great. Are you going to heat / cool it seperately? I can't tell if it's open to the main greenhouse or not.
Happy happy vandas!
Wow, Gin....it's almost done, ready to move in! I'll start packing now.![]()
Are you planning on using polyply on the roof? I also like the step down for the extra head room....nice work, kiddo!!!![]()
Maggie
Hi all , It has poly on the roof , the rest is like the main part ,glass panes from show cases a friend gave us , the front window is new and opens , we do all the building , plans ect . right now there is a sliding patio door seperating the addition from the main part it will come out and be heated and cooled from the main part , the addition roof is fairly flat and stepped down from the main roof that does not face the right direction .A mistake , it could be used for a sunroom if we sold the place . HB. did the drawings , I ran the power screw driver . he measures , saws , I can't cut straight lol . Also a friend helped with the heavy stuff .
Tim one of the easier ways to build an attatched to the house is with the sliding patio doors on 3 sides or at least 2 , built so it can be used as a sunroom if you sold out . Thanks for lookingGin
Looks great Gin, I'm green with envy!!!
