    Cool Blc. Keowee Newberry

This plant gets better every year. It has two more buds coming along, but for now the single flower is enough. I cannot get over how large and nice this first flower turned out.

Very pretty! I like the way you're growing it also. Wood baskets are my favorite for cattleyas.

I KNOW!! It's like it's the Angelina Jolie of the orchid world... hehee...

But seriously... gosh, that truly is one stunning plant. Another Catt to add to my never-ending wish list! Oh, and I, too, love the basket you have it in. I wish I could grow in baskets.... it gives a much more natural look. Obviously I should just convert the second floor of my house into a giant vivarium... that would solve my problems. I can see it now... "Kids, I know you love your bedrooms and all, but you're going to be sleeping in the basement from now on because the second floor is being given to the orchids." Hehee!

As my husband says, that would "go over like a lead balloon." Anyway, here I am rambling on and on again... sheesh.....

    Great growing!!!
