The same friend that gave me the Vanda that's growing a spike now, also gave me this Epidendrum. I'm pretty sure I have a spike (actually I think I have more than one spike, but the others are too small to be sure). It has been outside since she gave it to me (end of December, to be more precise), protected from rain, but in full sun whenever there was sun. It has quite a reddish teint that I'm not sure if it's because of the sun or the cold. I hope to show you pictures of the blooms in a near future. Sorry for the bad picture, but it was taken in a hurry. I'll make better photos soon.
