Oh wow !!
What a stunning Paph.
I can't think of anything else to say except WOW, fantastic blooms, beautiful job and photos
Simply amazing!
These is our jewel from the jungle one of the beautiful paph maybe the "King" thanks for sharing this magnificent species.
How pretty! The tendrils are so elegant...lucky you!![]()
A big WOW . Magnificent!!!That is a very well grown plant. Congrats on the good culture. I find this the most difficult of my paphs to grow. As a Malaysian, I am truly proud of our of our 'Paph Royalty' - rothchidianum, the King; and sanderianum, the Queen.
Great shots,Magnus! I really like the picture of you and sanderianum together.
isn't that something? i was reading about these a while back, they grow on vertical cliffs, and the flowers dangle in the breeze like that. some of the ideas about why the flowers grow so long was to allow ants to climb up and pollinate, but i guess they are not entirely certain. i know ants love my vanda flowers, so maybe it is true?
It is legendary indeed! I am first fascinated with Paphiopedilum genus when I first saw the long petals of Paph philippinense and yet this Paph sanderianum has longer petals. Still, I am satisfied with Paph philippinense and love to have them both![]()
