    Default Should Bulb. smitinandii be repotted

    I have had this plant in S/H since 5/14. It is currently growing two new leaves. However, the mature leaves do not appear healthy and one is quickly dieing. There was one that grew well and now is dead.     seems to be a fungal infection and algae. you could try physan 20 and cleanup the algae and possibly sterilize the LECA and repot in S/H.

    How do you sterilize the LECA?

    Pressure cook it or microwave it or pour boiling water and later wash it with physan 20. I recently used hot water wash followed by 11% benzalkonium chloride wash as we don't get physan 20 here
