    Default Phal keiki in spike

Probably a bit overdue for a pot of its own. LOL Oh well... the fruits of laziness.

It is a Phal. Stuartiana. I have two of them (well, three now). They are pretty vigorous growers for me, but don't like to dry out. I kept this one too dry by accident when it was spiking, and it failed to set solid buds, and then finally gave up after a foot of spike or so and grew a keiki instead.

Default Beginning of a Phal keiki in spike?

Greetings all, does this look like the beginnings of a keiki in the spike? There are two, as you can see in the photo. I was waiting for the spikes to turn brown but today I noticed new growth. Should I just let these go or cut the spikes above the new growth?

Those look like keikis to me! Personally I'd just leave it all alone and see what it does.

I agree with Carol. I will leave as is till it develops decent sized roots (2-3 inches) and then repot them
