Reading some threads about Dendrobiums made me remember about this little guy. I own a Dendrobium Spectabile, she is between 2 or 3 years old, I was told they were slow growers & picky when it came to light. Mine is alive, but it has about 6 leafless canes from 2 to 7 inch long and one with 3 leaves around 7 in. it has never flowered, or completely died off. As I said before I used to live on a very humid, rainy place and was told to best use volcanic rock medium. At the moment the plant is sitting in a 4 inch terracota pot with volcanic rock medium, but it is growing on an edge of the pot. Is there something other than repotting that I could do? I am afraid to nurse it to death since I was told this kind was so picky on its growing conditions...
