These are photos of a new vanda that is over six feet tall and as you will see some long roots that have attatched themselves to the walls, I have about five of these plants all in concrete pots, this is the first bloom from one they have been planted over two years and just as I was thinking of cutting them shorter I noticed the flower spike, I am waiting to see when the others will flower now, but it is a beautiful flower, and I have the red one that has been flowering from since year before last, sometimes two flower spikes at a time or as one gets old the other comes out, now I have gotten about five young plants.

This looks like the Arachnis Maroon Maggie - a variety of Arachnis Maggie Oei ( Arachnis flos-aeris x hookeriana). It is less free flowering than the type Maggie Oei (the yellow form).

I have also got this New Vanda first bloom, got it as a piece not even planted, the person at the market just cut off the tops of orchid to sell them, I bought this and another piece for one hundred dollars just because I love orchids and had saved another in the same condition, a strap vanda too, one is Moh Chao Phraya Classic Bankok Gold, the new one I do not know the name of both right now in bloom

Nice blooms. The first post though is not that of a Vanda but of an Arachnis. Once they begin blooming, they continue year round. Mine do.
You also have some pretty Mokaras. Is that in US Dollars? Wow, pretty expensive.

Angel the value is not in US dollars it is in Tt dollars and the rate is about 6.35tt to one US no, I am sorry for not answering any post< I had a heart attack on the 24th September and have been in and out of hospital the last time was one month and I came home on Sunday last, some days I do not do too well but I am trying to along with prayer. I know the first is an Arachnis and I may have to sell off my plants because of my condition right now going to have to have surgery at sometime soon, so because of this I cannot do much gardening, but after everything I will bounce back and have more orchids, though I do not want to get rid of these I have nurtured for years.
