Schomburgkia lueddemanniana
I just love the color on this species. And if you have ever wanted to bloom a schomb, this is the one. Mine blooms like clockwork. The spike is one of the slowest growing I've ever seen, but this one blooms every year no fail. I have other schombs and they do not bloom like this one...also, this one gives you that cool ball of flowers.
The two big boys together...the wind was blowing and I finally got the plumeria (plant that looks like a stick due to them losing their beautiful leaves in the winter) to help keep that ball of flowers from waving back and forth. lol
