Hello,
I went to the London RHS Orchid Show last week and I acquired a number of orchids. One is in the picture below (Phrag. caudatum - a compact variation - the long petals literally grow about an inch a day). I love the Phrags and the Paphs.
This robin came in through an open window when I was doing revision. She spent a few minutes investigating my room, it has a lot of plants so she might have thought it was an extension of the garden. Anyway, she is an extraordinary tame robin, and I am relieved the cat was not with me at the time.
I watched the robin for a moments before moving to get my camera. The robin tolerated this, even relieving herself on a few places and using a Vanda root as a perch, haha.It was quite hilarious.
Some orchids that I photographed at the show:
Paph. primulinum
Paph. Chou yi Light

It was quite hilarious.

The Vanda on the photo was the first Vanda I had in my collection back at home, unfortunately it didn't survive when I left them and moved away... I never knew it's real name, although it was my absolute favourite
Sight... Have you been to Wisley? It is such lovely place! Make sure to tell me if you'll plan to come
