Clowesia Jem's Speckled Russ 'SVO' AM/AOS x Catasetum Karen Armstrong 'Golden Fire'
This Clowesia Jem's Speckled Russ 'SVO' AM/AOS x Catasetum Karen Armstrong 'Golden Fire' came to me last fall and over wintered here in Colorado. A Fred Clarke mini-hybrid. I was able to grow one spike with 4 flowers. Does this one have male and female flowers? I don't know.
All of my other Catasetum bloomed male flowers this year. One more that hasn't bloomed this season is just opening now and is also male. 2 Catasetum that bloomed earlier in the season for me are in spike again and will bloom before dormancy sets in. It would be neat if they bloomed female this time.
