    Default Cirr. Sandi Ting – second umbel

    The second spike opened on this, with fewer flowers and therefore much better presentation. (old thread is here)

    Plus, I found two more spikes on the way.

    Omigosh! The presentation is much better! The first one looks like a train wreck! Was that the influence of light angles while the buds developed?

    Very doubtful; they were in similar circumstances. The only important difference that I know of is that this umbel has 11 blooms – exactly the right amount for a full circle– and the train wreck umbel had about 14 blooms, so they got crumpled together on top of each other.
