Neat bloom ! Gin
cool! never saw one of those before!
I've never seen one in bloom on 'the mainland' before. Lots of people have the plants around here but they can't get them to bloom - so congratulations. I can almost taste it!
They are really easy to grow down here just stick the pineapple top in the ground and 50% of them grow into nice plants that produce in about a year. There actually was a pineapple farm here in the 30s.

WOW! I have never seen that before. SO COOL!
Thanks!
Cheers!

LOL! That's what people here do with Avocado pits. I've grown so many... But never had the room to put them out to grow to fruiting size. Biggest one right now is about 6 ft and about to go to Avocado heaven.. no room for it here. (I could be using that space for orchids!)Originally Posted by Molly Taco
