I just got two small cattleya Plants (in those plastic bag sleeves from ---- Vendor information removed - see FAQs on Posting ----) and I’m wondering if these could be grown strapped/mounted to a Pygmy date palm (robellini palms).

I’m in zone 9B Port St Lucie, FL and have no shade however the palms offerfiltered high light.

Would this type of orchid survive if not “potted”?
