    Default oncidium papillio (psycopsis revisited)

This thing is like a Timex watch...just keeps going !! The blooms are bigger than ever,(makes my hand look small ) so I know it isn't stressed from constant bloom. It also has a third wire(spike) coming along ! Got to love an orchid that just doen't require much attention !

Very pretty! Those flowers look so unique--definitely very different from the regular oncs. Great growing!

    Awesome!!!

I lost mine a couple of years ago . It was able to produce about 10 spikes over the years and then died. I don't know what went wrong, I like to think it died with old age .

This is probably my favorite orchid now...I love how it moves with the breeze of the ceiling fan...and it's blooms amaze me ,that all that can come from such a small bud ! All orchid growers should have one of these !
Tanya, my heart breaks for your loss ...I will die if something should happen to mine.

Your's is beautiful Gilda! I have a tiny division of one, but am thrilled as it appears to have a new growth. They are very unusual blooms I think, and the buds always remind me of lizards!

It sort of reminds me of Audrey, the plant from The Little Shop of Horrors...

What do you feed it, Gilda? Small children?
