only one thats been blooming lately is the pleurothallis nasutta. the blooms are too small and weirdly shaped for me to be able to get a good shot though.

i had an unfortunate event a while back - i was out of town for about a week and while i was gone there was a blackout in my neighborhood. killed my humidifier, killed my lights, killed my fan. So when i got back home the humid. and fan were both off, making it hot and stagnant in my room. AND!! yes, theres an AND - the lights timer kicked back on when the power came back, putting it on a completely bass ackwards light schedule, which helped to further fry a bunch of plants. so i lost a whole bunch of pleuros to that accident, namely the draculas and masdies. a few of the Pleurothallis sp.s are still hanging in there though, as well as a few stelis. i dont expect too much blooming to be going on anytime soon though.

except maybe from the dockrillia nugentii... hes got another new leaf on him, and it is that time of year. now i just have to make sure mookie doesnt eat plants.

ive got a whole album of mookie pictures here - http://public.fotki.com/wogga/mookie/

Sorry about your orchid loss Colin, Maybe things aren't as calm as I thought. I was looking for a graphic before I posted my last note and you slipped that one in before I read it. OOPS!!

You'll have that in the big city, ya know? I guess no orchidologist has never killed an orchid. Atleast it wasnt just because i overwatered or something. Cant blame it on me!!

Beautiful Kitty. If I could have a kitty it would be just like Mookie.
