    there were already 5 species of Amesiella that could be found in the Philippines

    That's funny, Rence. In Cootes' book he writes there are only 3 species in this genus.

    According to Cootes, the flowers are a minimum of 6 cm across the lateral sepals. That's larger than I expected. It's a beautiful flower, Nelson, reminding me of Neofinetias.
