Phal on verge of death??
The phal I've been watching for my friend is definitely *not* doing well in my office. I'm thinking it doesn't have enough air movement...its beginning to yellow at the base of the leaf, and the stem itself is looking yellow...I'm scared, what do I do? The roots are pretty cruddy too- mostly mushy; no dryness, and dark brown. I actually took the phal out of the sphag it was in and put it in a bark mix; hopefully it'll dry out a little more.
Is this a case where I should sphag and bag to try and get new roots to grow? Or is this phal a goner?? I know I sphag'd/baged a phal a few years ago, but I can't remember how I did it....take a look at let me know what you think- sorry for the bad pictures:
