Okay, this is really sad, but I don't know the growing culture of catts whatsoever. I have been looking around trying to find some pictures that might help me identify what is what on my Catt Bob Elliott, but have given up. (And I need to go to bed).
So I have taken pictures, and am going to ask you, my more knowledgeable friends what each bit is:
There are 5 nobbly bits (I realise that is not the technical term) - how do I tell if they are new roots or new growth? Can anyone tell me, or do I have to wait and see...
There is also this interesting scale shaped thingy on the side of the next full grown growth, and also one in the above picture too, to the right of the 2 nobbly bits, directly above the middle of 3 nobbly bits at the bottom.
What is it? Is it a leaf that never grew? Has my catt turned into a Lily and is propagating itself by scales from a bulb? (Ok, that was just me being over the top) But as I don't know, please could someone tell me what I am looking at.
And, not sure if this matters, but all the nobbly bits are growing from a stem hanging over the side of the pot, so it will probably need repotting very soon if they are roots.
Thank you all.....
