    Default My newest Phrag addition

    Phrag. Sedenii = Phrag. schlimii X Phrag. longifolium
    I recently saw one that was purple. While photographing it a piece fell off and I am rooting it for my collection.

    I wonder if this was crossed with kovachii if the hybrid would bring out the purple of kovachii. I just sent a note to Alfredo Manrique to see what he thinks. I could mail the pollen down to Peru for the cross to be made.

    That sounds a terrific cross.
    No sign of kovachii hybrids on my normal vendors web sites , maybe an email is needed.
