OK Here it is!!!!

Well i wanted an orchid for a while!!! ___and it looks so sad!!! but with a little TLC i'm sure i can make it a happy plant.... i'm going to replant it from the little plastic cup i bought it in to a very nice glass pot with some orchid matter i also bought... well heres some pics any suggestions are really appriciated and ....i know they need to be feed, but what do i feed them with and where do i get it from??

Unless the glass pot has good sized drainage holes in the bottom, stay far away from it! Putting an orchid in a glass pot with no holes is an invitation for rot and a death sentence.

OK, no photos came through... and as far as the glass pots, stay away from them!!! depending on what genera you are growing, these types of containers allow algae to build up to levels that can hinder root moisture absorption and nutrition as consequence.
I assume that these pots have drainage?
My advice, get some simple plastic pots or terracota to get started and get down to basic culture. In all fairness I have grown a Phal. in a glass bowl with moss, but that was a trial and error thing and luckily it worked wonderfully for me, but I was in a warm climate and kept an eye on it to ensure there was no rot. BUT... I do not recommend this! can lead to many problems. I was just trying my luck and was lucky, but will not try that again.

THe plant itself is hard to see, but what I can see of it..it looks good. The leaves are strong and turgid..

In my limited exp. Wait till its done blooming before repotting into a quick drain medium or you will run the possibility of loosing that last blossom. I always use teracota pots, they help dry the roots off between waterings to help provent funguis growth.

I find that Phals are very resilient. I have know qualms about repotting them in bloom.

I don't think that flower is a peloric but it may be a genetic deformity. Will have to wait until next blooming to see what they look like. It is missing some normal flower segments
