NOID Brassia

This is a first bloom for this plant, only took it 4 years to decide to give a display but it did a good job. Any ideas on a name.

Thanks for the complements, I wasn't sure that it was a Rex as it was more yellow and the bars were thicker. But I bow to your expert knowledge.

Hey Cin, I was going to guess Rex "Sakata" also. Yours looks happy! I have one with only 1 spike and two flowers open thus far. It used to be a bigger plant than it now is. I notice yours is in a basket - what kind of medium is in it, and are you using screen or shade cloth to keep the medium in the basket?

I bought it as a bare root 4 years or so ago and put it in a basket with spag no screening. I probably should put it in something bigger or divide, but as Scarlett
said "There is always Tomorrow " or something like that.

not sure what it is, and not a real brassia expert, but my guess with the would be an Edvah Loo...Rex seems to have very 'regimented' inflorescences with the flowers in perfect order. very well-bloomed regardless! how tall are the spiders?
