Which one's the guy?! I'll go with the orchid...he's just dating a taller woman. Or maybe they're both guys. Bahaha. Scandelous...
Oh Kelly! Your thoughts of dating and relationships...
I thought that the orchid should have been a Cattleya. and that it should not have been growing in dirt with the rose but on the windowsill stuck to the side or something. The video gets full points for creativity and romance, but only an F+ in horticultural realism as pig and elephant DNA just don't splice...
Are they not both hermaphrodites anyway? So its a win-win for both of them either way.Originally Posted by sand_tiger86
Cats love that grass-in-box-planters stuff. If you have cats you dont need to mow it. Of course, having a rose bush there is bad news for the kitties as they will lose a scratch-fight with the rose.Originally Posted by jfrizz743
Great. A thorny phalaenopsis! I cant get them to bloom and they sting me too. Talk about adding insult to injury.Originally Posted by sand_tiger86
Poor bee. He is just trying to do his job and that is the thanks he gets.
When that rose came back to life, I was half expecting an ad for Superthrive to suddenly pop up on screen lol.
I think the effect of the film is lovely--if you agree to suspend disbelief for a bit. Overall, it's charming. Alas, the orchid and the rose come from two different worlds, and it just cannot work out. Sob.
I should probably knock before I go into my orchid room from now on...
I think the orchid's actually in a pot in the window box...I'm not sure though...looks like it's in something though. Realism or not, I kind of wanted to see an orchid/rose hybrid. Hrmf.
Very sweet. The orchid and rose seem to have a lovely relationship here. Thanks for sharing.![]()
