I thought that you might be interested in seeing this Cymbidium,so much so that it's a guessing game to see who can put a name to it.hehehehe
Here is a clue or two,

I grow a few Cyms but not many. I have a few Oriental species, 2 non oriental, 2 primaries and one hybrid.

Due to the hint and being the hint might be one of the species that I do have, I am guessing that one parent might be aloifolium

If it is than that narrows down the possibilities. I know it isn't Hugh Gordon [aloifolium x parishii (sanderae)] for that is one of the primaries in my collection.

The flower shape and color reminds me of Cymbidium hookerianum. Is that one of the parents??

no on both counts.I should also mention that it is a first flowering seedling from the original cross,hence the title
