    Default Haw Yuan Beauty 'Hong'

    In Jan I posted this pic of my BLC. Haw Yuan Beauty 'Hong'

    And now she has bloomed again 6 mths later. Truly an unexpected, but welcome gift. The color is actually much darker, almost a purple. Tried with/without flash, inside/outside and still couldn't get a true color. The sepals and throat of the lip are a light yellow. Light powdery fragrance. Thanks for looking.

    Very nice!

    Temperature effects flower color...that's why there is a subtle difference between January and now. It's a keeper!

    It smells heavenly between vanilla and cinnamon, I wonder what species will give that unique and exquisite smell to this hybrid.
