    That is strange, Andrea. Does it only have one bloom? Do you have a shot of the entire plant. I am intrigued.

    I agree--I'd love to see more. It kind of reminds me of a twisted jack-in-the-puplit flower.

    Default Habitus Dendrobium oligophyllum

    Hi,
    I ´ve shot new pictures from the habitus of oligophyllum this morning.
    Alongside is a ballpen you better can see the proportion.
    I´ve two of this species,once in a pot and the other is mounted and both are flowering.

    Oh that is great!! I will let folks like Paul grow this one though. I am afraid I would loose it in my GH. It is so beautiful. Thanks, Andrea, for the updated photos.

    Funny you should say that, Bruce ..... I do grow this one. LOL

    One or two buds per inflorence in typical, though it is possible to have more than one spike at a time.
