    Default Bulbo ovalifolium

This creeping, mini, species blooms on and off throughout the year for me with 1/2" flowers on a very fine 2" spike.

looks like it has had quite a lot of flowers for you Ron! Must be a very happy plant.

i can't get over the colour in the middle of that flower... it's just really intense... blood red and with the tongue in the middle... there's something slightly creepy about it!

Guess I haven't been good at cleaning off old spikes, LOL, on this blood thirsty species

Do you have a picture of your growing area? After following your posts I am most curious how you get such wonderful blooms. Do you have a particularly easy bublo to recommend as a beginner? I love the cirrhopetalum family. Your the Bulbo-King!

(all Cirrhos have been moved back to Bulbophyllum) An easy and fast grower would be Bulbophyllum flabellum-veneris (lepidum).

I will take some pics of my growing area for you. I grow in a friend's greenhouse but have had to get creative for he is a commercial vendor and needs the bench space for his inventory and his personal collection. I am currently rearranging my Bulbos so similar mounts are together for watering needs.
