I bought a great one of these in the spring in bloom.(hybrid "Ellen") It is growing really well, but I know that these need some specefic treatment to get them to bloom in the next year. I have let it stay out where it has gotten cool night temps- 60's about 2 weeks. I am in Northern Virginia-the forecast says the temps going to low 50's this week, so I think I will have to bring it in soon. Should I reduce water/stop water? Somthing about bright light??? I would really like to get it to rebloom! Thanks in advance!Meg

Also, reduce water significantly. You don't want the pseudobulbs to shrivel up, but otherwise keep them pretty dry. Also reduce your fertilizer during the winter. They need a dry winter rest to kick in their bloom cycle.
