How long should Onc. Sharry Baby flower last?

My Sharry Baby finally opened the first bud on Oct 18 after nearly 3 month spiking. To my surprise, I notice the first blossom has already started to dry off. I thought they should last at least 4 weeks.

The question is: how long does Sharry Baby blossom last? Am I doing anything wrong to cause it dies after only 2 weeks? I have recently moved all my Onc. to my office, facing south window. They are watered once a week now. They seem happy to me.

Once mine starts to bloom I put it in a bit lower light until done flowering..Flowers usually last about a month for me, if my memory is correct.

Low humidity will shorten bloom life as well. A month from first bloom to last is typical with each staying open around 3 weeks.

I am pulling it back away from the window. The humidity is also lower in office building than outside.

Maybe misting the plant would help? I've had blooms fade due to low humidity too.

Mine (in semi-hydroponics) started opening on October 5 and I didn't see any fade yet. I'm averaging about 60% humidity and I've moved it a bit farther from the window (north and east) after it opened. It might have grown a bit less fragrant but it might just be because I'm used to the scent now.

Once fully bloomed, my Sharry Baby 'Sweet Fragrance' went about four weeks before starting to drop. I also moved it away from the sun, but still within the south window room.

Experts have spoken. I shall move it away from the window. Hope other spikes will last longer for me.
