noid phals for Ischel

I made it to the big blue box store yesterday. The phals were all without nametags, but that just made them lighter in weight so it was easier for them to jump in my cart as I wondered past. The only mini was a green/yellow that just did not tickle my fancy. I go for pinks and purples as you can plainly see.

that was noid 1. the roots look good on all the plants, and they are in a medium bark mix with some sphag mixed in. Here is noid 2.

My favorite, noid 3 is a bit more PURPLE than it appears in the photos.

Yes, that was from the smiley face super store. I think now I should go check out the related club store to see what they have available. Last year, the club store had cymbidiums to drool over!

I was too busy admiring your beauties to notice tags....lol! Very nice, I saw the last one at a local nursery yesterday. It was a cutie and yes the color is a nice dark violet/purple that is lovely....great choices!

I noticed, too. Are they suggesting people water them that way? While it might work with cool-growers, I can't see Phals liking that at all. Tres bizarre! Nice-looking plants, though. Love the color of all the blooms. I'm thinking NOID number 2 has schilleriana in its background--the blooms are quite similar. (And for whatever reason, schilleriana doesn't seem to pass on its mottled leaves to its hybrid offspring very often--which is a pity.)
