    My first earned bloom on this one. It has a rose-like fragrance.

    Laeliocatarthron is quite a mouthful, but the flower is exquisite. I want one!

    I used to have one in that family, they smelled exquisite and bloomed on a regular basis for me. Then a mystery illness killed it... I love yours....the touch of spots here and there. Very nice...makes me want to go replace mine!

    Can't pronounce it either but it is a beautiful bloom, I love the purple outlining on the white petals! Well done.

    Thank you for the compliments. I am happy that the color turned out accurately in the picture.

    Yes, the name is crazy. It was labeled Dialaeliocattleya when I bought it bought since has changed. I guess the new name reflects the Caularthron ancestry better. I don't know.
