This is the first bloom of this plant under my care.The first two pic's were taken with a flash & the last two without.This bloom is 3" wide x 2.5" tall.It has a lot of small purple dots and a very plump pouch.It did post some earlier photos of this plant under the heading of, Plants Not In Bloom.Those pic's show the full plant.I hope this isn't a problem. Here are a few shots of this bloom as it has matured.I have also been blessed with another spike.The first spike did have two buds for awhile,but the lower bud turn brown and I had to cut it off.All of these shot were taken without a flash except the last shot. Take Care,Rich

I'll be the dissenting voice here. I love flower macros of any kind with the dark background that flash gives.

Rich, that last shot is a wall hanger for sure!! Gorgeous macro!!
